 Introduction: 

The topic under discussion is plant diseases and defense mechanisms of plant against pathogens. It is divided into three modules. The first module deals with general outline of plant diseases and pathogens. The second and third modules deals with 4 important plant diseases and 3 major defense mechanisms in plants respectively.

Objectives: 

Learner will be able to:

1. recognize  different plant diseases 

2. identify pathogens that cause diseases in plants

3. describe different defense mechanisms in plants
